Bandhavgarh National Parkis known as the forest where the unusual white tigers originated. While the area has several such stories of a rich past, the present is alluring as well. It has a healthy population of Tigers, Antelopes, Bison, and Langurs. Migratory birds throng to the wetlands in the park and winter is always filled with the sweet sound of birdsong. Sightings are almost certain in Bandhavgarh, since it has one of the highest densities of tigers in the country. And when you take a few minutes to look away from the wildlife, the Bandhavgarh fort will amaze you. The ruins are full of ancient tales and impressive architecture.
